In August 2009, LWOB reconfigured its board structure. Board membership and restructuring is an ongoing process that is expected to continue throughout 2010.

As of June 2010,  LWOB is overseen by three (3) boards:

The Executive Board of Directors chaired by Edward L. Turner, Esq.

The International Advisory Board of Directors, chaired by Dr. Amii OMara Ottunnu, United States UNESCO Chair 

The Regional Advisory Board chaired by Priscilla Pappadia, Executive Director of Lawyers for Children America
