Typically, the NGO registrations are from NGO's seeking to register or obtain tax exempt status in USA. In this instance, an International NGO with headquarters in USA, but with substantial projects in Africa, was seeking counsel in Zimbabwe. LWOB called upon its lawyer volunteer in the region who has been active with LWOB for several years.

In less than one month, as a result of the recruitment efforts of the LWOB volunteer, pro bono counsel, who agreed to assist the NGO with its filings in Zimbabwe agreed to represent the USA based NGO.
